The ACCIÓ vouchers are non-repayable grants that the Catalan government offers to Catalan SMEs so they can hire consulting and innovation services from accredited providers. The aim is to let small and medium-sized businesses reach professional services in strategy, innovation, industrial property and international expansion at a reduced cost. The grant covers between 50% and 80% of the cost of the service, with maximum amounts of €4,000 to €8,000 depending on the type.
Your company must be an SME (under the EU definition: fewer than 250 employees and turnover below €50M), have its registered office or a permanent establishment in Catalonia, be up to date with tax obligations and with Spanish Social Security, and not have received a voucher of the same type in the previous call. Some types require at least 2 years of activity. Tecnocim checks your eligibility before starting the application.
ACCIÓ issues its decision on a voucher within 4 to 8 weeks of a complete application being submitted. It is one of the fastest grant programmes to process. Calls usually run either on a competitive basis or on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on the type. Tecnocim prepares the application straight away to give it the best chance of approval.
