Companies with fewer than 50 employees also have a guaranteed minimum credit and can carry any unused amount forward for two financial years.

Finally, developing or configuring advanced software with new algorithms can generate an R&D&I tax deduction: 25% of R&D expenditure (42% on the amount above the average of the previous two years) and 12% for technological innovation, among other incentives (Art. 35 LIS).
