Energy Transition Consulting: Efficiency and Sustainability for Your Company
The energy transition is not only a regulatory obligation: it is an opportunity to cut costs, reach public funding and position your company as a reference point in sustainability. Tecnocim works with you from the energy audit through to the rollout of the decarbonisation plan, connecting each action with the grants available to companies operating in Spain.

Our energy transition method
Energy audit
We analyse your energy consumption, production processes and emission sources. We map the inefficiencies and quantify the saving potential using real data from your company.
Decarbonisation plan
We design an action plan with measures prioritised by impact and return: process efficiency, electrification, renewables, circular economy. It includes a timeline, the investment required and the ROI of each measure.
Funding management
We identify and manage the public grants compatible with your plan: PERTE, Next Generation, regional grants, environmental tax deductions. We maximise the return on every investment.
Rollout and monitoring
We coordinate delivery with specialist suppliers, monitor consumption and emissions indicators, and prepare you for sustainability reporting (CSRD, EINF, ESG reports).
Two approaches, depending on your objective
A company that has to comply with new rules is not in the same position as one that wants to cut energy costs proactively. We adapt the approach to your priority.

Frequently asked questions about the energy transition
A full energy transition engagement includes: (1) an energy audit covering consumption, processes and emission sources; (2) a decarbonisation plan with measures prioritised by impact and ROI; (3) management of public funding (PERTE, Next Generation, regional grants); and (4) support during rollout and tracking of the indicators. At Tecnocim we connect each action with the grants available, so you maximise the return on the investment.
The cost depends on the size of the company and the complexity of its processes. A basic energy audit for an industrial SME is affordable and can be part-funded with regional grants or programmes such as Kit Consulting. In many cases the savings identified in the audit exceed the cost of the service within the first year. We give you a fixed quote before we start.
It depends on size and sector. The CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) requires large companies and listed SMEs to report their carbon footprint and sustainability strategy from 2025-2026. In addition, Ley 7/2021 on climate change, the Spanish climate law, requires companies with more than 50 employees to calculate and register their carbon footprint. Even if your company is not covered today, more and more clients and suppliers ask for this information.
Yes, there are several funding lines. The PERTE for industrial decarbonisation offers direct grants for energy efficiency projects. The Next Generation EU funds include specific lines for the green transition. In Catalonia, ACCIÓ offers grants for sustainability and innovation projects. Environmental investment can also generate tax deductions. Tecnocim identifies the grants compatible with your project and handles the whole application.
The initial energy audit takes 2-4 weeks. Designing the decarbonisation plan takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on complexity. The first measures, the quick wins, can start immediately, while a full decarbonisation plan runs in phases over 12 to 36 months. We work to quarterly milestones so you see results from the first quarter.
Three things: a practical industrial view (we are not sustainability theorists but consultants with more than 30 years working with production companies), integration with public funding (we identify and manage the grants that cover part of the cost of the transition), and a focus on return (each measure is assessed on its real ROI, not only on its environmental impact). We do not sell empty certifications: we design plans that save money and cut emissions.
